Overview

We are looking to hire the Marketing Manager – Quaker NPF/Bars. A change leader and influencer, this role will craft the strategic vision, set the agenda and ensure strength of execution to deliver both short-term and long-term results that span across key sub-brands including Chewy & Dipps. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, Quaker for PepsiCo Foods Canada.

Total Compensation: $84,100 - $134,100


Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for ensuring the growth of the Quaker NPF/Bars portfolio by leading the strategic planning process and executional excellence of the plans as part of the overall Quaker Canada strategy  
  • Lead the business planning process (from Brand Growth Strategy through to Annual Operating Plan) for the NPF/Bars portfolio, developing strategies/partnerships and opportunities consistent with brand positioning and builds on equity
  • Partner closely with the Quaker Innovation Team to define the innovation strategy/pipeline of our NPF portfolio to deliver sustainable and profitable growth
  • Lead the development and stewardship of key Total Quaker Portfolio initiatives including development of the Quaker National Calendar, leadership of hallmark events like Back-to-School, and championing best-in-class execution with key cross-functional thought-leaders  
  • Lead Total Connections Planning (i.e. Media & Communications plans), working with Insights and IAT partners to deliver creative excellence and effective programming
  • Budget ownership and accountability for Quaker NPF and Portfolio Budgets to maximize ROI across all initiatives
  • Partner and influence internal stakeholders (Quaker Leadership Team, Insights, Away-From-Home, PCT Teams, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Legal teams, etc.) and agency partners to bring to life strong consumer and commercial plans to unlock profitable growth
  • Wire and collaborate closely with US/Global markets to ensure shared learning/strategic alignment; Unique opportunity to own Canadian-led work and harness North American/Global expertise and resources  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years relevant experience in strategic marketing roles - CPG Industry Marketing experience considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and influence across levels and capabilities
  • Strong influencing and networking skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to win through superior consumer marketing, grounded with consumer-centric insights
  • Proven results in managing multi-brand portfolios
  • Proven ability to build and lead strong IAT relationships to achieve breakthrough results
  • Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit to find creative solutions to problems
  • Strong growth-mindset and sound business judgment; ability to anticipate issues and resolve them with confidence
  • Expert in simplifying complexity no matter the level of ambiguity, including the development of strategies that are executable by cross functional partners
