The Centralized Operation of Research Equipment and Support (CORES) within the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University is crucial for sustaining research excellence, fostering collaboration, and maximizing the impact of institutional investments. Dalhousie’s CORES program plays a critical role in ensuring that sophisticated, often high-cost scientific instruments are accessible, expertly maintained, and efficiently managed. Reporting to the Scientific Director and working closely with the Facility Manager and the Senior Technologist, the Technician provides researchers with a broad range of technical expertise in electron microscopy methodologies to support high magnification and high-resolution scientific investigations.
