What is the opportunity?

RBC WII Business Technology is looking for an experienced, passionate and detail-oriented Data Analyst & Insights to have an important role in our transformation journey as we build and execute on our vision and strategy across our global group supporting the Insurance, Investor Services and Wealth Management Europe and Asia businesses.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the dynamic team responsible for transforming complex data into strategic insight that guide executive decision- making. The role sits at the intersection of data analytics, business/ tech strategy, and performance management, enabling leadership to identify growth opportunities, optimize reporting and track value of strategic initiatives.

This individual will identify and collects data sources, analyze and extracts key data and information, evaluates and monitors data quality to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements. Monitoring and reporting of IT Strategic Measures and KPI and its impact to financial management.

What will you do?

  • Provide data driven insights to support strategy transformation initiatives & Innovation trends, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identifies and collects data sources using specific tools or techniques; inputs them into the organization's information system.
  • Monitor strategic KPIs and measure the impact and value delivery through Strategic Initiatives and track performance against targets.
  • Support OKRs, balanced scorecards and recommend corrective actions. Manage executive dashboards and KPIs frameworks.
  • Provides data flow diagrams and documents the processes used in a company database.
  • Assists and participates in data validation and cleaning to ensure the quality and integrity of data.
  • Analyzes and extracts key data and information to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements.
  • Identify trends, risks and opportunities using internal and external data.
  • Support strategic planning, market and trend analysis and competitive benchmarking.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork & collaboration

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Business, Statistics or related field
  • 3-6 years of expertise in data analytics, strategy, consulting, or similar roles
  • High attention to details with results-oriented approach
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
  • Experience in SQL, Excel, and data visualizations tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives
  • Measure/ metrics driven

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working with Senior executives
  • Strong communications and storytelling skills
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or analytics driven roles.
