Salary range (but not limited to):

74,800 - 91,400

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

7.5%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our national Broker Finance Reporting team!

Join our national Broker Finance Reporting team as a Financial Analyst, where you will help shape broker performance reporting and insights. You’ll assess broker performance, identify key trends and drivers, and translate findings into clear narratives and recommendations that influence decisions across the business. You’ll maintain and enhance KPI monitoring tools and continuously improve reports and dashboards to make results easy to understand and act on. Success in this role calls for strong written and verbal communication, a curious and problem-solving mindset, comfort working with light documentation while improving processes, effective time and priority management, a collaborative approach that builds trust, and high energy, strong initiative, and a commitment to quality. If you love connecting the dots across the business and turning complex data into concise, actionable insights, you’ll thrive here.

 What you’ll do here:

  • Define analytical objectives and the KPIs that illuminate broker performance; identify drivers, trends, and outliers, and recommend actions.

  • Extract and validate data from multiple sources; create, publish, and maintain user-friendly reports and dashboards; iterate based on stakeholder feedback.

  • Apply business process and industry knowledge to ensure analyses are accurate, relevant, and decision oriented.

  • Collaborate with your team and cross-functional stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, and implement solutions for new or evolving objectives.

  • Present complex analyses clearly and concisely to diverse audiences across the organization.

 What you bring to the table:

  • Post Secondary education in Finance, Analytics or Mathematics

  • Minimum 3-years experience simplifying complex data into clear insights that guide decision-making - is required

  • Advanced proficiency with Power BI and Excel – is required

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and broker distribution is a strong asset.

  • MS Access/SQL familiarity (asset): Can query and structure data; comfortable leveraging databases to support analysis.

  • Clear, influential communicator: Simplifies complex topics in writing and speech; drives informed decisions.

  • Curious problem-solver: Ask smart questions, identifies root causes, and gathers context before acting.

  • Operate with light documentation: Comfortable with ambiguity; improve and formalize processes/docs.

  • Priority and time management: Juggles shifting, competing, and urgent tasks without sacrificing quality.

  • Collaborative and trustworthy: Build relationships, share information, and work cooperatively across teams.

  • High energy and initiative: Proactive, self-starting, and quality-focused in a fast-paced environment.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
