Adecco is currently hiring an SAP Application and Material Inventory Support Analyst for a full-time opportunity in Markham, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with SAP experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting inventory, materials, and operational processes.
As an SAP Application and Material Inventory Support Analyst, you will support day-to-day inventory and material activities within SAP, working closely with engineering, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and issue resolution.
Pay Rate: $32.84/hour
Location: Markham, ON
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract: Temp-to-perm potential

Responsibilities
Create and manage material and panel part numbers in SAP
Extend part numbers across SAP instances and maintain accurate master data
Populate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP
Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing teams regarding BOM and material setup
Support inventory cycle counts and physical inventory processes
Analyze stock discrepancies and work with teams to resolve root causes
Monitor inventory levels and movements using SAP reports
Provide first-line support for SAP inventory and material-related issues
Investigate and resolve user errors, incorrect postings, and system issues
Log and track incidents, escalating complex issues when required
Support and improve standard operating procedures related to inventory and materials
Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
Assist with testing system updates and enhancements related to SAP inventory
Provide user training and guidance on SAP processes and transactions
Create and maintain user documentation, guides, and reference materials
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–2 years of experience working with SAP in inventory, warehouse, or production environments
Hands-on experience with SAP MM Inventory Management (goods movements, stock types, reservations)
Strong understanding of material master data and inventory processes
Ability to navigate SAP and interpret system errors and material documents
Familiarity with SAP inventory reports (stock overview, material documents, etc.)
Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy) considered an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Customer-focused mindset with strong ownership of tasks and issue resolution
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
Comfortable working onsite in warehouse or plant environments
Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada
