Adecco is currently hiring full-time experienced Reach Truck Operators to join our client’s fast‑paced warehouse and distribution team in Ajax, ON. This role requires hands‑on experience operating Crown or Raymond reach trucks and will be responsible for safely moving, organizing, and storing product within the facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

  • Pay Rate: $21.00/hour up to $22.50/hour after training period

  • Location: Ajax, ON

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Crown Reach/ Raymond forklifts to pick, place, and retrieve pallets at various racking heights

  • Transport, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse

  • Perform accurate put‑away, replenishment, and product rotation

  • Use RF scanners or pick lists to locate, scan, and process orders

  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments with high accuracy

  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment

  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper load securement

  • Complete daily pre‑trip inspections on all forklifts

  • Follow all warehouse safety rules, SOPs, and PPE requirements

  • Ensure safe operation in aisles, around pedestrians, and near racking systems

  • Report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment

  • Assist shipping, receiving, and general warehouse functions as needed

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity targets

Qualifications:

  • Valid Crown Reach forklift certification

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating reach trucks and/or order picker forklifts

  • Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the entire shift

  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and multitasking skills

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team

  • Safety‑first mindset

  • Strong spatial awareness

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to meet KPIs in a fast‑paced environment

  • Good organizational and time‑management abilities

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
