Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Accountant to support our client with full‑cycle accounting across multiple operating and property entities based in Vaughan, ON. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a hands‑on, evolving environment. This role partners closely with operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with business performance.

  • Pay Rate: $80,000 - $100,000/year (based on experience)

  • Location: Vaughan, ON

  • Schedule: In office

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full‑cycle accounting for multiple operating and property companies.

  • Prepare financial statements, month‑end close activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, and year‑end audit support.

  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

  • Manage lease accounting, fixed asset registers, and capital expenditure tracking.

  • Produce accurate financial reporting, including variance analysis and performance insights for leadership.

  • Maintain internal controls and ensure consistent application of accounting standards.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.

  • Liaise with external auditors, lenders, and regulatory bodies as needed.

  • Collaborate with operations to align financial processes with club activities, facilities, and overall business performance.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation required.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in full‑cycle accounting, ideally in real estate, hospitality, recreation, or multi‑entity environments.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll, lease accounting, and financial controls.

  • High attention to detail with strong technical accounting proficiency.

  • Ability to thrive in a hands‑on, fast‑paced, evolving environment.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
