PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for a New Grad - Maintenance Team Supervisor    

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm

Compensation:  $56,700-$92,400

The Role:

As a Maintenance Team Supervisor, you are responsible for leading your team to achieve key performance indicators during your shift.  The primary roles is focused on quality performance, cost, service, and safety targets while developing your Team Members on different production lines. You will interact and collaborate daily with people leaders on all different kinds of shifts in the plant, including Quality, Operations, Packaging, Traffic, Warehouse, and Sanitation Supervisors as you motivate and inspire your team, eliminate barriers, and problem solve. 


Responsibilities

  • Provide functional leadership, coaching, and technical support 
  • Lead a team of 20 to 25 hourly unionized Skilled Trades with varying levels of experience and education. 
  • Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service and safety. 
  • Develop individuals and the team to solve routine and complex operational issues. 
  • Motivate the team to achieve established performance targets. 
  • Lead the execution of daily work plans and Preventative Maintenance Program. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. 
  • Initiate and implements continuous improvement projects. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree completed 2024 - 2026
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Operations Preferred  
  • 1-3 + years’ Supervisory experience preferred   
  • Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills  
  • Experience in Coaching and Monitoring Performance of Others – Take Others With You  
  • Able to Instruct and Teach Others  
  • Skills in Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing Work  
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Capabilities  
  • Knowledge of General Regulatory & Safety Processes and Procedures  
  • Mechanical and Technical Aptitude
