BCIT's *Information Technology Services* department is seeking a *regular, full-time (1.0 FTE)*Data Specialist to support the management, quality, and governance of institutional data across the organization. This position plays a key role in ensuring enterprise data is accurate, well defined, and suitable for reporting, analytics, and operational decision making.

The Data Specialist works within a complex enterprise data environment that includes core systems of record, analytics platforms, and cloud-based ERP solutions. The role supports institutional priorities by improving data quality, consistency, and understanding, and by enabling trusted data for operational reporting, analytics, and major initiatives such as ERP modernization.

Working closely with technical teams, functional analysts, and business stakeholders, the Data Specialist contributes to data governance practices, supports data integration and migration activities, and helps ensure institutional data is well documented, well governed, and fit for use across the organization.
