Adecco is currently hiring a Project Manager – Commercial Construction for a full-time position in Winnipeg, MB. This opportunity is ideal for a driven construction professional with strong experience managing commercial new builds, tenant improvements, and renovation projects valued between $5M and $10M.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through project closeout while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a leadership role in coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders while maintaining strong communication and client relationships throughout the project.

Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans including schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and resource allocation.
Lead and motivate project teams including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal personnel while ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Establish and maintain quality management processes to meet or exceed required construction standards.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure expectations and requirements are fully understood and met.
Manage contracts including proposal reviews, scope validation, and negotiation of commercial terms.
Oversee project schedules, monitor critical path activities, and track progress across all phases.
Administer project budgets, track project costs, and identify opportunities for value engineering and cost control.
Manage change orders and ensure scope, schedule, and financial impacts are properly documented and approved.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations with a strong focus on site safety.
Prepare and issue project status reports including schedule updates, cost forecasts, and risk assessments.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Proven ability to manage commercial construction projects including new builds and renovations ranging from $5M to $10M.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide and support project teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate expectations, updates, and technical information.
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, sequencing, and industry best practices.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to make timely decisions in dynamic project environments.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple project demands.
Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements, schedules, and site conditions.
Diploma or degree in Construction Management is preferred, or an equivalent combination of technical training and practical experience.
Experience using Procore is considered an asset.
