Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and safety‑focused Order Picker / Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our client’s warehouse team in Mississauga, ON for an afternoon shift. This role combines order picking duties with skilled forklift operation, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely movement of materials within a fast‑paced distribution environment.

If you have experience operating counterbalance forklifts and enjoy hands‑on warehouse work, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to a high‑performing team.

  • Pay Rate: $20.75/hour

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Schedule: 3:00pm – 11:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Order Picking & Material Handling

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with a high level of accuracy

  • Use RF scanners or pick lists to locate, scan, and stage products

  • Perform palletizing, wrapping, and staging of outbound shipments

  • Replenish pick locations and assist with inventory counts as required

Forklift Operation

  • Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move, load, and unload materials

  • Transport pallets within the warehouse, loading docks, and storage areas

  • Follow safety protocols, load‑securement procedures, and equipment guidelines

  • Complete daily pre‑trip inspections on forklift equipment

Warehouse Support

  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free workspace

  • Follow all warehouse SOPs, safety rules, and company policies

  • Support team members with general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certification

  • Experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment

  • Previous order picking or warehouse experience is an asset

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

  • Safety‑first mindset

  • Strong spatial awareness & coordination

  • Team‑oriented attitude with excellent communication

  • Ability to meet productivity targets in a fast‑paced environment

  • Good time‑management and organizational skills

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
