The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Analyst II, EUC to join our IT Operations & Projects team in Voisey’s Bay, Labrador a fly-in fly-out operation.
This is a 12 month-fixed term position starting in June 2026.
As an Analyst II, EUC you will be responsible for operation and maintenance of end user devices and services including field services, print, computers, mobility, meeting rooms, telephone, radio systems and radio frequency spectrum licensing, and cabling to enable business capabilities in Vale Base Metals (VBM) Canada and International. The role is responsible to ensure these services are aligned with business requirements, agreed service levels, and Technology policies and standards while achieving excellence in service with cost efficiency
Additionally, in this position you will:
- Ensure efficient interface between VBM business asset stakeholders, VBM IT functional areas, Global IT functional areas, key IT vendors, & IT service suppliers to maintain stable IT operational services
- Work with third parties responsible for field services, print, computers, mobility, meeting rooms, telephone, radio systems, and cabling ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of these services along with the physical implementations supporting them
- Implement goals tied to strategic plans for end user services to align with business goals ensuring high availability, customer experience, and performance including support of IT project strategy definition
- Work to ensure alignment of multifunctional and strategic initiatives with peers in IT
- Monitor the performance of key end user services to achieve expectations of agreed service level (SLA) and/or operational level (OLA) in technologies/services under your responsibility
- Generate regular reports on service performance, incidents, and improvements for use in monthly IT performance metrics & KPI (Key Performance Indicators) dashboards
- Manage service contracts in scope, guaranteeing costs optimization and excellence in end user services including project transition
- Provide and maintain consistent information on all IT end user assets
- Serve as point of escalation, review and approval for issues and decisions as it relates to technologies/services under your responsibility
- Manage risks associated with cyber vulnerabilities, information privacy legislation requirements, compliance & audits
- Continually seek opportunities to optimize the costs of IT end user services
- Ensure adherence to risk management and compliance processes, including Security and Technology policies
- Support execution of local IT budget including cost review and evidence
- Recommend and implement cost reductions, risk reduction, efficiency, & continuous quality improvements
- Maintain VBM standards for 5S, routine inspection & reporting as required for the IT operational areas and routines
- Ensure the VBM values, behaviors, golden rules and other guidelines are adhered to by the IT operational services team and its vendors, partners and service providers always provide transition support for APJ/EU, Vale S.A. and OT services to other leaders as defined or work to define resources required to support this scope

About You
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field/experience.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience delivering and supporting end-user IT services, including participation in mid-sized initiatives such as workstation deployments, unified communications, service desk operations, and/or enterprise software rollouts.
Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of end-user computing environments, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, radios, and peripheral equipment.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Knowledgeable in cybersecurity principles and practices to protect end-user devices and data including antivirus software, endpoint protection, and encryption.
- Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud-based solutions and managing the integration of cloud services for end-user applications.
- Mobile Device Management: Expertise in managing and securing mobile devices, including implementing MDM solutions to ensure compliance and security.
- ITIL Practices and Help Desk Management: Experienced in ITIL practices for service management, including incident, problem, and change management to improve service delivery and support to end-users.
- Software Asset Management: Proficient in managing software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and optimizing software usage.
- Technical Documentation: Capable of creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation for end-user computing services.
- Technical Delivery Experience: Proven experience in delivering end-user computing solutions in large multinational organizations, including mining companies like Vale.
- Knowledge of physical facility, operating environment, safety requirements and practices to safely deliver Technology infrastructure services within an industrial operating environment.
