The Technical Assistant will be working in the Stantec office in Winnipeg, MB. Responsibilities include preparing test reports using computer software and maintaining organized project files for Materials Testing Services Division. Hours of work will be 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. During the winter months, the Technical Assistant will assist the Project Manager Assistant with admin activities, including technical assistance in our geotechnical soil and aggregate laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Input test data from worksheets and field test reports into computer software
  • Advise the Materials Testing Field Supervisor of any deficiencies in worksheets and field test reports
  • Prepare test reports for review by Manager of Materials Testing Services
  • Send test reports by email to client
  • Obtain project information from clients, where required
  • Maintain client and project database for software
  • Maintain organized project files for materials testing services

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position will primarily work in an office setting.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
