Purpose

The Retail Risk Analytics Engineering (RRAE) team partners with Global Risk Management (GRM), Regulatory Capital, IFRS9 Provisioning, and Enterprise Stress Testing teams to deliver regulatory and non-regulatory initiatives.

We are seeking a Software Engineer Associate to contribute to development efforts in a fast-paced environment. You will implement solutions for multiple business lines, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code..

Accountabilities

• Contribute to several Cloud Migration Projects, leveraging Cloud Function, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
• Produce optimized, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Create documentation, flowcharts, and architectural diagrams.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end reporting processes.

Education / Experience / Other Information 

Education

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• 1+ years of Python experience; familiarity with software libraries and components.
• Commitment to thorough documentation and collaborative teamwork.
• English level B1+

Preferred Skills

• Pandas, NumPy, SQL proficiency.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies (Google Cloud Functions, BigQuery, DataFlow, DataProc, Pub/Sub).
