This role blends leadership, coordination, communication, and physical work, ensuring every move is handled with professionalism, care, and efficiency.

  • Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00/hour

  • Location: Kingston, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Crew Leadership & On‑Site Supervision

  • Lead and supervise crews of packaging specialists to ensure safe, efficient packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading of customer belongings.

  • Prepare customer sites and maintain high service and safety standards at every job.

Training & Development

  • Deliver skills training and OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) instruction to field teams.

  • Support onboarding, mentorship, and leadership development for new and experienced staff.

  • Identify strong performers and ensure new hires understand key expectations and processes.

Quality & Communication

  • Conduct Quality Management inspections at customer locations.

  • Provide clear daily communication through morning briefings and post‑service debriefs.

  • Share critical updates from crews and customers with the Operations Manager.

Crew Coordination & Support

  • Organize transportation of crews between job sites.

  • Deliver necessary supplies, materials, and refreshments to support onsite operations.

  • Assist Senior Packaging Experts with paperwork, customer communication, and crew organization.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Complete all required reports accurately and on time.

  • Maintain strong communication and documentation practices across each job site

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and customer needs.

  • Enjoys leadership roles and motivating team members.

  • Experience in the moving industry is an asset (not required).

  • Bilingualism is an asset.

  • Physically fit — able to lift up to 75 lbs (frequent lifting, bending, twisting).

  • Valid G License with a clean driving record (experience driving a high‑top van or people mover an asset).

  • Satisfactory Criminal Background Check.

  • OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) or equivalent.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
