The SCM team is currently looking for an individual to support the Midstream portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement lifecycle activities supporting the Operations, Maintenance & Reliability across Suncor’s Midstream assets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Three years in a Supply Chain or a Procurement related role
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and manage the entire lifecycle of purchase orders and other procurement documentation
  • Manages the portfolio and actively participate in meetings to collate demand, evaluate business requirements, analyze data, identify optimization opportunities, and negotiate effective solutions
  • Ensures all procurement activities are aligned with the purchasing strategy and procurement plan
  • Assesses risks, identifies trends and opportunities, and makes recommendations for improving procurement processes, policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders

Location and other Key details:

  • This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
