The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. We’re looking for innovative team players ready to take some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country to the next level.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Programming and Sales to create promotions, contests and identify opportunities to capitalize on brand building and revenue growth for both Bell Media and its clients
  • Oversee hiring, coaching, scheduling and supervision of part-time promotions staff
  • Create, write, pitch and execute all elements of the promotion & contesting process including rules and regulations
  • Manage and maintain all contest prizing and oversee the winner fulfillment process following company protocols
  • Administrative support (responding to listener and client inquiries, interacting with contest winners, etc.)
  • Assist with managing the annual promotions operating budget
  • Copywriting for web, social media, station imaging and host liners
  • Champion community outreach support & charitable programs attending station and client events as required
  • Execute a logistics plan for all events, to ensure branded assets are properly set up in a visible location
  • Participate in regular promotions meetings and brainstorms
  • Contribute to and monitor daily posts and engagement of station’s digital content & social media channels
  • Fill-in announcing shifts (both live and voice tracked) as necessary
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director

Critical Qualifications

  • Recognize that radio is a 24/7 medium and have a willingness to step outside the traditional 9-5 as needed
  • 5 years of radio promotions/programming experience in a mid-large market
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Solid knowledge of all social media platforms
