Why This Role is Important:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead the Portfolio Management to oversee the strategic management and execution of PC Financials’ business and technology objectives. The role is pivotal in partnering with business and technology leaders and lead strategic delivery solutions incrementally using Agile methodology. You will be tasked to successfully lead high performing team of project managers and your expertise in portfolio management, program management and Agile will be crucial in fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. You will help deliver multiple high visibility projects aimed at exceeding the expectations of our customers rapidly while maintaining a high standard of quality and mitigating risks and issues.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement strategies for managing the PC Financials’ project portfolios, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of multiple technology and business programs ensuring they meet the scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with portfolio and program activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Lead end to end portfolio management and planning for all the initiatives including owning intake planning meetings and supporting with vision refinement.
- Champion Agile principles and practices within the team and across the organization, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Create and monitor the overall programs dashboards- and then using the data to introduce best practices.
- Track and report on the performance of portfolios and programs, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, legal and operations to ensure cohesiveness.
- Set delivery/completion dates of program milestones and establish a regular review cadence to report on the state and impact of the initiatives according to established goals
- Work closely with business teams, product managers, and technology teams to deliver on the roadmap; coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution of programs.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant team members and ensuring technical feasibility and build comprehensive project documentation
- Develop and lead coordinated delivery plans to supervise and track progress; identify, assess and track project risks and issues
- Handle changes to the project scope, project timeline and project costs where needed to meet business outcome
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing large programs withing banking and fintech.
- Clear and demonstrable understanding of Project Management Lifecycle; knowledge of agile frameworks
- Strong relationship building skills and experience leading stakeholders and partners to drive cross functional programs.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance.
- Experienced in verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively connect with both business and technical teams
- Abilities to connect dots, assimilate new insights/tasks and lead in dynamic situation.
- Working understanding of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office
