About the role
We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our HR Claims Quebec team.

What you'll do here:
Provide professional HR coaching and advice to selected business groups, considering best practices and trends, and ensuring that HR management decisions and practices meet legislation as well as company rules and values.
Conduct investigations, support managers in managing conflicts and other labor relations issues.
Participate in the management committees of the assigned groups and be constantly aware of human resources management issues.
Analyze and recommend strategies and potential solutions to a variety of human resources management issues.
Lead and/or participate in strategic national projects and the deployment of corporate programs and sector initiatives.
Answer complex questions related to human resources management.
Develop tools, facilitate roundtables, training workshops and information sessions for employees and/or managers.
Collaborate and work with managers on succession planning, talent management and development.
Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and collaborate with all members of the National HR Team, Claims, on various types of mandates.
Make salary recommendations based on compensation best practices.
Conduct needs analysis and support managers in establishing and ranking positions and in workforce planning.
What you bring to the table:
University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resource Management
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Human Resource Generalist with an expertise in complex employee relations.
Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly changing environment.
Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with all levels of management.
Strong planning and project management skills, rigor, analytical and synthesis skills.
Pragmatism and strategic thinking to solve operational and/or highly complex issues.
Solid knowledge in all areas of human resources including performance management and labour relations, disability management, change management, mobilization, compensation, organizational development, and talent management.
CHRP designation.
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
Bilingualism in French and English is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
