The OKTA Systems Admin is a key member of the Digital Workplace Team and is responsible for the design and maintenance of the OKTA infrastructure. The candidate should also be well versed in Active Directory and Azure AD. The successful candidate will have experience and expertise in delivering a stable and available end user environment.
Responsibilities:
- Okta Technical Roadmap creation/maintenance
- Project implementation for both Operational and Enterprise assignments
- Provide level 3 support for the end user experience while adhering to service management guidelines.
- Drive process improvement and automation to increase effectiveness and quality.
- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Assist in maintaining and testing business continuity/disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures necessary to recover services in the event of a declared disaster.
- Participate in incident resolution while working with major incident teams.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 4 to 6 years of related experience or College Diploma in Computer Science or a related field and 7 to 10 years of related experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience supporting a large scale, mission critical enterprise in a 24x7 operating environment.
- Multiple years of experience and expertise on managing Okta platform.
- Experience working within Incident, Change and Problem Management processes.
- Experience applying ITIL best practices is an asset.
- Strong problem solver and team player who is confident and challenged in a fast-paced environment supporting a wide range of technologies.
- Proactive and results-oriented with good time management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and focus on multiple priorities concurrently.
- Excellent organization, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
