In this exciting new role, you will act as a single point of contact for corporate and professional services contract administration. This role plays an integral role in the Manage Goods & Services Process, both directly and as a process champion to understand and coach on policies and best practices. You may support any of key the processes: sourcing & contracting support, strategy support, demand/supply planning, supplier performance.Minimum Requirements:
Eight years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Mining or Utilities industry
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related field
Strong communicator and team player with the ability to quickly build productive relationships with operations (sites), business units and SCM teams
Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with a variety of people including the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), suppliers, and business units
Experience with SAP, Fieldglass and working knowledge with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Effective analytical, time-management and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Serve as the single point of contact for respective business units to resolve and coordinate complex issues related to improving Material & Service availability, in addition to guiding business units through appropriate SCM processes
Work collaboratively with Business Units and Site leadership teams to resolve transactional and strategic issues
Attend and participate in appropriate business leadership meetings to ensure key SCM-related issues are flagged and/or a path to resolution is identified
Support and communicate system/technical enhancement, changes, updates and issues/challenges as a SME and key integration point with multiple stakeholders
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a demand plan according to best practice
Location and other Key Details:
This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour, Monday to Friday
