We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Tablespace Encryption (TDE) and Oracle 12C/19C. Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. This hybrid role requires working during the day shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and aligned to the budget.
• Implement standard methodologies for infrastructure management and maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
• Monitor infrastructure for potential issues and proactively address them to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team to optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with collaborators to understand infrastructure requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
• Conduct regular assessments of infrastructure performance and implement improvements as needed and be involved in capacity planning
• Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
• Implement and maintain database security and maintain users and roles, assign privileges and perform database application tuning and performance monitoring
• Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams and collaborate with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
• Patch Management and Version Control

Qualifications

• Experience in 19c TDE enable tablespaces experience and using OKV
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification in Oracle 12C/19C.
