What is the opportunity?
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring adherence and compliance to all Third-Party Risk policies for Technology, meeting all regulatory and audit requirements and maintained in an on-going basis. You will also lend support towards the review, reporting and management of contracts. You will also provide leadership towards any process improvements for supplier payments. This role will focus on managing the Caribbean Banking Third-Party Technology Suppliers to ensure appropriate planning, governance, oversight, and management for effective delivery. You will ensure adherence to all policy and regulatory requirements relating to Suppliers, including all risk assessments, remediation, and reporting.
What will you do?
- Provide oversight and governance and ensure compliance with relevant 3rd party policies and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a comprehensive view of Supplier’s overall relationship with RBC Caribbean Technology, especially in terms of Risk and Policies
- Serve as the central point of contact for RBCC Technology Supplier payments and act as RBCC escalation point for related unresolved client & service partner issues that are being generated by the supplier. Resolve issues by ensuring their full understanding and being able to apply specialist knowledge to lead discussions to ensure beneficial agreements.
- Ensure due diligence against all Supplier payments (such as alignment with contracts, confirmation of services received, SLAs met)
- Collaborate with the Caribbean Technology Financial Management team to track supplier spend and cost savings and ensure correct accruals for supplier payments.
- Contribute to contract reviews and drafting to ensure that payment terms and conditions are clear and measurable.
- Identify emerging Supplier specific risk and apply necessary Supplier management principles.
- Ensure enhanced Compliance of Third-Parties through ARCHER applications (SRMA, SSRA, SRA) in collaboration with the Cyber Security and/or Third-Party Risk Teams
- Prepare for and support IT and Third-party Risk Audits
- Create and maintain up-to-date Intragroup Arrangements between Technology and Business Jurisdictions to meet regulatory requirement and to ensure alignment with internal support contracts.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years with broad working experience in Banking & IT environment
- 3-5 years of proven Supplier Management experience (relationship, governance, performance, payments)
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and environments quickly.
- Experience with financials such as accruals
- Experience with Third Party Risks, Audits and Regulatory reviews
Nice to have:
- Contract Law certification will be an asset
- Supplier Management Certification will be an asset
- MBA will be an asset
