The Opportunity:
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking a Manager of Operations to oversee and drive the success of our department(s)/site(s). This role is pivotal in ensuring we meet our business goals, including financial targets and employee engagement.
The role also involves optimizing resource management, spearheading process improvements, and cultivating a collaborative work environment. This ensures alignment and enhances effectiveness, efficiency, and service delivery within defined scope, schedule, and cost parameters.
This is an onsite role.
About The Role:
• Oversee/manage operations to meet business, financial and human capital goals and targets established for the department/site/area and support the Symcor growth strategy and plan.
• Ensure client deliverables are met by collaborating with other teams to plan and organize workflow, and manage resources, execute activities, review reports, and resolve issues/incidents to ensure client deliverables including service level schedules (SLS), client satisfaction (CSAT) and change request/project targets are met/exceeded.
• Meet Symcor Risk, Privacy, Security and BCP Requirements by collaborating with internal teams to develop and/or implement controls/measures to meet audit requirements and client contractual obligations in accordance with policies, procedures and standards. Conduct testing and validation of controls to identify gaps and take corrective action in preparation for internal/external audits.
• Lead team by completing workforce planning including developing and recommending organizational structure and staffing for the department/site/area based on volume. Lead and manage employees by inspiring and motivating staff, managing performance, providing support to resolve issues, mentoring, coaching, promoting and enhancing the professional development of staff through training/cross training and succession planning, and conducting team meetings to help drive employee engagement, ensure optimal performance and quality assurance from employees.
• Review and approve operational requirements documents within timelines to meet service levels when onboarding a new business or accommodating client changes in department/site/area.
• Drive continuous improvement fostering an innovative, continuous improvement environment by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, developing, documenting, and implementing more improved, streamlined processes/procedures/systems in the department/function/area, and supporting direct reports in executing their continuous improvement ideas/initiatives.
• Ensure all client jobs are completed as assigned with high level of accuracy in accordance with very specific client and Symcor procedures, quality standards, service level agreements and strict client productivity deadlines to avoid financial penalties.
• Conduct error control checks by reviewing and validating cash books, G/L accounts and reports to ensure accuracy within required timeframes.
• Develop and motivate people and influence desired organizational culture.
What You Need to Succeed:
Education:
• College diploma or a bachelor’s degree or a combination of relatable education experience in Business Management, Operations Management or a related field
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve operational goals.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing operational efficiencies.
• Experience in budget management and financial planning.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Skill requirements
• Advanced MS Office
• Advanced computer skills
• Strong people management/leadership skills include experience in motivating and engaging individuals.
• Extensive knowledge of organizational structure and strategy, service level agreements, goals, values and vision.
• Overall knowledge of client requirements, process workflows, policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
