Adecco is currently seeking a Raw Material Coordinator to support a new development program. In this role, you’ll manage the sourcing, procurement, and coordination of raw materials critical to production. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure material availability, contract accuracy, and process efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a world-class aerospace manufacturer and play a key role in supporting innovation and production continuity.

  • Pay rate: $29-$31/hour.

  • Location: Ajax, ON

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead raw material sourcing by requesting and evaluating supplier quotations (RFQ process), securing commitments, and selecting suppliers based on company requirements.

  • Source available and alternative raw materials through stockists or certified distributors, including managing certification requests (Material Validation Board).

  • Maintain and distribute weekly updates on sourcing activities, escalating supply shortages as necessary.

  • Coordinate order statuses and priorities with internal teams to ensure production continuity.

  • Set up and manage supplier contracts in SAP, ensuring accurate pricing and financial details.

  • Place and manage purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries and supplier compliance.

  • Mitigate raw material shortages and ensure adequate coverage for internal and Tier 1 suppliers.

  • Analyze supplier delivery dates, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective/preventive measures.

  • Participate in supplier calls and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.

  • Support internal departments (Procurement, Industrialization, Production, Quality) with up-to-date delivery and documentation information.

  • Manage blocked invoices and ensure timely payment processing.

  • Oversee transfer plans, purchasing data accuracy, and report generation.

  • Ensure compliance with purchasing processes and company standards.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance purchasing efficiency and performance.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • Degree or background in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Purchasing preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in a procurement or supply coordination role, ideally in aerospace or manufacturing.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and coordinate cross-functional projects.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, international environments.

  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
