Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties:
This course provides a foundational overview of the research designs and statistical analyses used in the study of human movement and nutrition. Content should include: Study Design, Organizing and Displaying Data, Probability and Hypothesis Testing, Sampling Distributions, The Difference Between Means, Correlation and Regression, Analysis of Variance, Introduction to Advanced Analyses (e.g., longitudinal modelling, meta-analysis). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing course materials; however, previous course instructors will make available their course materials (e.g., lecture notes, presentation slides, etc.) should the candidate wish to refer to them. Required Qualifications:
PhD (preferred) in Kinesiology or related discipline with expertise in research methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in the instruction of a similar course at the graduate level.

*Supplemented Fees- 15.02 In addition to the wages as set out in Article 15.01 and Schedule A of the Collective Agreement, the employee shall be eligible to receive supplemented fees as set out in this Article and Schedule B. The actual rate of pay, when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing then the employee shall receive the difference.
