As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support Dealers, prospective Dealers, and our internal teams with insights on Dealer succession, growth, and transactions to drive success. Acting as a business performance consultant, you’ll help new and current Dealers improve profitability and instill financial tools to ensure long term success. Led by the Manager, FP&A, this opportunity suits someone skilled in financial modeling, confident in coaching stakeholders, and passionate about turning around struggling businesses.
Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how:
- Engage daily with Dealers, Operations, Lenders, and prospective buyers/sellers with respect to forecasting, planning and transaction evaluation for Dealer locations.
- Manage, build, and evolve operational and financial performance models to help achieve accurate and successful Dealer forecasts.
- Thorough review and understanding of asset and share sale agreements to provide detailed forecasting with respect to those transactions.
- Respond to daily Dealer inquiries and support requests for information and financing needs.
- Manage the collection and output of Dealer financial data, trends, and insights.
- Develop KPI’s to help illuminate and ultimately drive Dealer performance improvements.
We’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. CPA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of three to five years’ experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, data analytics and reviewing/preparing financial statements.
- Strong financial knowledge and understanding of accounting, financial statements, credit and banking principles.
- Advanced experience in building and improving financial statement models.
- Experience with transaction or buy/sell accounting preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (with advanced Excel skills).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence decisions.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to establish credibility with the Dealers and the Retail Operations Teams, to positively impact business performance.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and multi-task changing priorities.
- Ability to work additional varied hours as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
