The School of Business is one of the largest business schools in Western Canada. We deliver programming to more than 3,000 students in credit programs annually. Our degrees, diplomas, certificates, and courses are aligned to industry and designed to meet the needs of today’s employers. Programming areas include accounting, financial services, human resources, management, supply chain, marketing, administrative, legal, and more.
We are currently recruiting a casual contract instructor to facilitate a course (or courses) as follows: LIBR251 (Integrated Library Technology) and MKTG360 (Library Marketing) in the full-time program, taught synchronously, for the winter semester (Jan-Apr 2025).
Reporting to the Academic Chair, you will be a self-starter, have a passion for facilitating applied learning for others as well as a passion for lifelong learning. You will professionally facilitate the learning process of the students and support students in achieving established learning outcomes to the maximum of their potential. You will make use of any and all available resources, methods, techniques and strategies to ensure student success. You are expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a student-centered learning environment which is pedagogically sound, technically supported and innovative in nature. You must be able to demonstrate excellence in your communication skills, organizational skills and have the ability to function in a collaborative team environment.
