Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 12 PM to 1 PM EDT – this event is exclusive for employees of our Proud Partners and Community Partners.
Join Colin Druhan, Executive Director of Pride at Work Canada, for an interactive session examining the lived realities of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals in Canada and around the world. Drawing on over two decades of leadership in workplace inclusion and collaboration with global grassroots organizations, Colin will provide a nuanced perspective on safety, dignity, and privilege. This session will equip attendees with actionable strategies to address systemic inequities and create safer, more inclusive workplaces.
As this webinar takes place during the same month as World Day for Safety and Health at Work (April 28), it offers timely insights into ensuring workplace safety—not only from physical hazards but also from systemic barriers that impact 2SLGBTQIA+ employees. Attendees will leave with tools to advocate for inclusion as a core component of workplace safety.
Learning Objectives:
- Explore the intersection of privilege, systemic barriers, and workplace safety.
- Learn actionable strategies to create safer and more inclusive environments.
- Understand the global context of 2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy and how it informs local workplace practices.
Target Audience:
- DEI professionals,
- HR leaders, and
- Senior executives committed to fostering safer and more inclusive workplaces.
