Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for a Training and Documentation Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the ISS Training and Documentation Supervisor, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of education and training that supports Home Hardware’s in-store retail system.

What you’ll do:
- Development and delivery of training and resources.
- Assess training needs and recommend solutions.
- Participate in developing various training components, ensuring quality training is delivered and deadlines are met.
- Work with Retail Systems team members and other subject matter experts to gain solid understanding of store operations and in-store system processes and functionality.
- Participate in training for internal and external support teams.
- Update and maintain existing training material with the goal of improving the Dealer-Owner experience.
- Create communications to promote Retail System training products, programs and services offered.
- Two to three years of experience with instructional design process and adult learning principles.
- Advanced experience developing training resources using a Learning Management System and eLearning software.
- Excellent organizational, research, writing, editing and instructional design skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with presentation and training experience. Candidates with fluent French written and verbal skills will be given preference.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to work under strict time and production deadlines while producing quality deliverables.
- Collaborative and able to effectively liaise with various subject matter experts and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
- Expertise in store level standard retail operating procedure and in-store systems.
- Knowledge of Home Hardware’s Systems and Services is an asset.
