BCIT's School of Transportation is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Toolroom Attendant. This position provides toolroom services and support to faculty and students such as preparing, organizing, tracking, issuing and receiving tools. Receives and distributes training materials and prepares related lockers or workstations as needed. Checks for damages and loss, making minor repairs to tools and other learning equipment. Determines and coordinates when equipment must be shipped out for repairs. Monitors, records and maintains tool and material inventory, preparing purchase requisitions and other documentation related to the toolroom. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the toolroom, materials and related shop/work areas/yards.
