Dalhousie’s Talent Pathways temporary staffing program connects skilled and talented individuals with short-term hybrid and in-person job opportunities in Faculties and Administrative Units across our East Coast campuses.
Talent Pathways supports Dalhousie's strategic plans on equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility by creating opportunities for folks from underrepresented communities experiencing barriers to employment. A temporary placement is a “foot in the door” to gain valuable experience in a unionized academic environment which increases the chances of finding an on-going position at Dal.
Opportunities through Talent Pathways are designated to applicants that identify as Indigenous peoples (especially Mi’kmaq), Racialized (especially African Nova Scotian), Persons with disabilities, Women, and Persons belonging to sexual orientation and/or gender identity minority groups. If you are a member of one of these equity-deserving groups, you must self-identify during the application process to be considered.
