The Opportunity:
Cork term: 8-12 months beginning January 2025
How You Will Contribute:
The Platform Automation Test team is an integral part of the software development lifecycle. We are responsible for ensuring that our products maintain high quality standards by leveraging Python to automate tests, capture metrics, and raise awareness of issues found. The successful candidate will work closely with HW designers, SW designers and systems architects and will perform some of the following tasks:
- Develop and support a suite of automated tests using Python to help the design teams deliver product solutions to the market,
- Help develop applications and automation solutions used to test the capabilities of the 6500 and RLS systems,
- Configure and connect nodes and test sets in the lab,
- Maintain and develop dashboards using various visualization tools (Kibana, Grafana, etc.)

The Must Haves:
- Working towards completion of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent
- Foundational knowledge of Python or other scripting language (Perl, TCL, Expect, etc.)
- Comfort working with HW in the lab, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Assets:
- Knowledge and experience with Python based test frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework, etc.)
- Experience working with a Linux based workstation
Compensation and Benefits (Students)
The pay range for this position is $24.50-$33.00/hour
