Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Shipper and Receiver to work in Scarborough, ON. In this role you will be responsible for receiving, picking, shipping, checking orders and putting away inventory, daily loading of outbound orders.

  • Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

  • Location: Scarborough, ON

  • Shift: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00PM | Monday to Friday

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Unloading trucks and providing the appropriate documentation to the Coordinator for processing

  • Putting away newly received product in designated location, as time permits

  • Verifying incoming shipments to shipment documentation

  • Order picking / checking orders / packaging

  • Creating and ensuring all Bills of Lading are accurate and correct.

  • Bin Location replenishment. (when required)

  • Inventory counts. (when required)

  • Warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.

  • Any other tasks as directed by Department Lead Hand /Supervisor / Manager

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • High School graduate preferred

  • Good prioritizing and problem solving skills

  • Lift truck experience required; Clamp experience is an asset

  • Certified Raymond Reach Operator required

  • Able to do moderate lifting (up to 70 lbs)

  • Strong work ethic

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Previous experience in order picking, receiving, putting away etc.

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word), SAP preferred or ERP experience

  • Strong work ethic
