Essential Responsibilities:
- Formulate, organize, and monitor baseline schedules in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to intricately devise and uphold detailed construction schedules.
- Evaluate, monitor, and meticulously report on all scheduled deliverables to ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations and mitigate potential claims.
- Provide valuable feedback on project schedules and collaborate with the team to implement necessary adjustments.
- Assess construction progress, deliver regular updates on schedules, and detailed progress reports.
- Proactively identify and address any potential issues that could impact project schedules, supporting Project Managers or Superintendents in effective resolution management.
- Lead planning and execution sessions with construction management and discipline leads.
- Liaise with operations, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to discuss work impacts and devise solutions for emerging challenges.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans and strategic mitigation strategies based on detailed schedule and critical path analyses.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive schedule presentations and updates.
Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of proven experience in planning, scheduling, and preparing CPM schedules and detailed progress reports, ideally within the commercial construction sector.
- Previous technical experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent.
- Possession of a diploma or degree in Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, or a related field, alongside industry-relevant trade certifications or education.
- Expert proficiency in Primavera (P6) and MS Project.
- In-depth understanding of construction execution strategies and methodologies.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
Working Conditions:
- This is a remote position, welcoming applicants from Western Canada. Candidates must demonstrate strong independent work capabilities and availability for travel as required.
