Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days in office)
Team: Product Design
Reports to: Director of Product Design

 

About the Role

Loblaw Digital is building digital experiences that shape the future of eCommerce in Canada. From online grocery and pharmacy to beauty and apparel, we’re redefining how customers shop. As a Senior Product Designer on the Fulfill & Assist team, you’ll focus on improving the post-purchase experience. Your work will directly impact how customers receive, manage, and resolve orders across multiple business lines.
 

You’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers throughout the design process, from research and ideation to delivery and iteration.

 

What You'll Do

  • Define problems and set goals
    • Lead discovery sessions, define problems with data, and align teams around clear objectives.
  • Design user flows and interfaces
    • Create journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI. Focus on how users interact with content, visuals, layout, and timing.
  • Apply systems thinking
    • Use and expand our design system. Build scalable patterns and shared language between design and engineering.
  • Validate and iterate
    • Conduct user and market research using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods. Track post-launch performance and optimize designs based on data.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusion
    • Apply AODA standards and design with diverse users in mind. Improve usability for all, not just those with specific needs.

What You Bring

  • 3 or more years of experience designing for digital products in cross-functional teams.
  • A portfolio that shows:
    • Shipped, accessible products, preferably in eCommerce or marketplace environments
    • Collaboration with product and engineering in agile environments
    • Thoughtful framing of problems and solutions
    • Measurement of design impact using KPIs and data
    • Contributions to team culture and design practice
  • Proficiency in Figma for interface design and prototyping
