Job Description

What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Manager, Strategic Risk Insights within the CAE Group, you will be a technical leader driving the digital transformation of the internal audit function through advanced data and AI initiatives. You will architect and execute complex analytics solutions that deliver strategic, enterprise-level risk insights, and directly influence audit strategy and execution. This hands-on role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, a track record of delivering impactful analytics, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects in a dynamic, evolving environment.

What will you do?

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and AI solutions that transform audit execution and risk intelligence across the enterprise.

  • Architect and implement scalable data pipelines, machine learning models, and NLP solutions to uncover systemic risk trends and control weaknesses.

  • Synthesize and communicate complex audit findings, trends, and emerging risks to executive stakeholders through compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations.

  • Drive cross-functional analytics engagements, collaborating with auditors, data engineers, and subject matter experts to ensure technical excellence and business alignment.

  • Oversee the governance, documentation, and reproducibility of analytics assets, establishing best practices for version control and knowledge sharing.

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, graph analytics, large-scale processing engines) to continuously enhance audit analytics capabilities.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, AI/machine learning, or risk analytics, with a proven record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions.

  • Expert proficiency in Python (or R), SQL, and experience with large, complex datasets and modern data architectures.

  • Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying machine learning and NLP solutions in production environments.

  • Strong track record of translating technical analytics into actionable business insights for senior leadership.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in internal audit, enterprise risk, or compliance analytics at a large organization.

  • Hands-on expertise with generative AI frameworks, graph analytics, and large-scale processing engines (e.g., Apache Spark).

  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) and cloud-based data platforms.

  • Recognized thought leadership in data analytics, evidenced by publications, conference presentations, or open-source contributions.

  • Demonstrated experience designing intuitive and effective user interfaces for analytics dashboards or reporting tools.
