Senior Manager, Deposits Lifecycle & Engagement (Toronto, ON)
We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven leader to join our Retail Deposits product team. This role will shape the strategy and planning of key multi-channel initiatives that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention for checking and savings products. Working closely with marketing partners, you’ll develop programs that deliver results throughout the client lifecycle and ensure our deposits portfolio meets its growth and engagement targets.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Lead strategy & planning: Define goals and priorities across acquisition, engagement and retention to drive portfolio growth
- Turn insights into action: Use data and analytics to identify gaps, uncover opportunities, and propose high-impact programs.
- Drive results: Set clear targets for initiatives, track performance, and adjust strategies to maximize outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams: Partner with marketing, analytics, and product teams to support the delivery of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with product strategy and lifecycle objectives.
- Be the product voice: Act as the product leader in campaign pods, making trade-off decisions and shaping campaign strategy.
- Tell the story: Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, getting buy-in through clear storytelling.
- Own the roadmap: Build and manage the deposits lifecycle initiatives plan, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Foster excellence: Create an environment where teams operate effectively, guided by our values and principles.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience developing strategies and leading large-scale programs or campaigns
- Background in banking or financial services, with strong knowledge of retail product financials and P&L levers
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to influence senior leaders and inspire teams
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
- Agile experience is an asset: background working in pods or agile teams, with comfort in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Working Conditions
- This role is located in our downtown Toronto, ON office location. Non-standard hours may be required to meet business objectives. Limited travel.
