Summary
The Bell Network Technology Services (NTS) team uses emerging technologies, Agile and DevOps to design and build innovative solutions that enable Bell’s communications services for businesses and consumers. We’re looking for creative problem-solvers who are curious, collaborative and ready to be on the leading edge of business transformation.
In support of the BCE Labour Strategy, we are expanding NTS Skill’s presence in global centers. This team will help us build technology expertise, and intellectual properties and optimize cost while moving to new ways of working (e.g., Agile, Cloud etc). The Performance Manager role is critical to define, monitor and track the quality measures behind our execution of the strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for performance management of Global Technology Centres (GTC) through activities including but not limited to the establishment and measurement of key performance indicators across GTC, internal BCE sites, Vendors and other
- Plan, execute and measure all the milestones in the Recruitment, Onboarding and Performance management cycle end to end
- Collaborate with Global Technology Centre - Hiring Operations Managers to identify opportunities, challenges and tuning measure to hire and retain the best talent
- Identifying improvement opportunities and capital planning requirements and budgets. And working closely with the finance prime to secure, track YEE and mitigate risks
- Provide strategic advice and guidance on the performance management framework to all stakeholders including executive reporting
- Lead all communications and interactions with the global team and manage the internal communication plan for all related matters in the performance cycle
- Challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- International travel may be required
Critical Qualifications
- Strong people leadership skills – at least 5 years of management experience
- Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving techniques, organizational abilities
- Ability to use a diplomatic approach to work with high-level stakeholders and introduction of changes in the process.
- Proven aptitude to manage technology vendors and partners to build a win-win ecosystem
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities at a high level and dive into details when challenges arise
- Very strong organization skills, time management, and high attention to detail
- Background in defining and measuring SLA including expertise in best in class performance measurement tools with Agile designations
- Background in Human Resources management
- Expert knowledge of MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Confluence and Jira
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Business Administration, Operations
- Familiarity with the Telecommunications domain
- Bell NTS experience
- Experience working with on/offshore vendors
- Program Management/ Project Management certification e.g. PMP, ITIL (an asset)
- Fast-paced, changing working environment, interfacing with a myriad of stakeholders
- General knowledge and ability to use SQL data queries and extract data for analysis
