A career as a Senior Fund Administration Analyst on the Rating & Appraisal team at National Bank means contributing to the achievement of various deliverables by working in synergy with your team. Your leadership, experience with derivatives and knowledge of the exchange-traded fund ecosystem and finance have a positive impact on the client experience.

Your job :

  • Specialize in exchange-traded funds for the sector
  • Analyze complex products held in exchange-traded funds
  • Participate in the daily appraisal of exchange-traded funds
  • Provide specialised advice to all parties involved
  • Help open and integrate new exchange-traded funds
  • Properly manage stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Train colleagues to ensure their own succession (be a mentor)
  • Anticipate problems and develop solutions to mitigate risks
  • Implement control mechanisms
  • Participate in the various large-scale projects in the sector

Your team

You are part of a team of 19 colleagues in the Investment Funds Administration and Tax activities sector and will report to the Manager of the Rating & Appraisal team. Our team stands out for its dynamism, efficiency in delivering daily deliverables and expertise in the investment funds and financial products they hold.

Work schedules are flexible and include remote work based on operational needs.

We favour a variety of forms of continuous learning to enhance your development, including on-the-job learning, training content and working with colleagues with diverse backgrounds and expertise.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field or any other combination of training and experience deemed equivalent
  • CFA designation completed or in the process of obtaining, an asset
  • Knowledge of mutual and exchange-traded funds
  • Good knowledge of Excel software (formulas, VBA, etc.)
  • Interpersonal skills and client-centric skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Leadership and rigour
