Adecco is actively seeking a Project Manager to join a leading building science and restoration consulting firm in Burlington, ON. In this role, you will manage projects from start to finish, including investigations, specifications, and construction oversight, while ensuring client satisfaction and financial performance. The position requires travel to project sites across southwestern Ontario and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects in a collaborative, innovative environment.

  • Pay Rate: $115k/year.

  • Location: Burlington, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Leading business development efforts by identifying new projects and client opportunities.

  • Preparing proposals and contributing to the growth of the firm’s technical practice.

  • Conducting investigations and preparing detailed technical reports for parking garages, roofing, building envelopes, leakage, and overall building condition assessments.

  • Developing specifications and managing the tendering process for projects.

  • Overseeing projects from investigation and specification stages through construction, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

  • Monitoring project finances, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining the financial health of projects.

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Traveling to project sites across southwestern Ontario, with mileage reimbursed.

  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff in technical practices and project execution.

  • Performing other duties as assigned to support business operations and project success.

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, specializing in Building Science or Structural Restoration.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant in building science and restoration engineering.

  • At least 2 years of project management experience within a building science consulting firm.

  • Professional designation (Eng. or P.Eng. pending) is an asset, but not required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations.

  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with adaptability to changing priorities.

  • Experience with energy modelling (considered an asset).

  • Comfort with heights, as some project work will be on elevated structures.

  • Valid Class G driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle.
