Reporting to the Completions & Turnover Manager and working in conjunction with the Mod Yard Pre/-Commissioning Managers, Site Construction Managers and Commissioning Managers, the Pre-commissioning Lead is accountable for the planning and oversight of all pre-commissioning activities for the LNGC facility. The Pre-commissioning Lead is a key member of the Construction Leadership Team which will work together to lead a flawless project delivery with a focus on safety and meeting all internal/external targets.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Assists with the development of the detailed integrated facility pre-commissioning schedule
• Refine / validate the pre-commissioning manpower estimate
• Scope definition, evaluation, selection, contract development and management of pre-commissioning specialty contractors
• Strong awareness of the Prime Contract
• Create/validate all facility pre-commissioning procedures
• Support an integrated Workface Planning strategy and execution plan
• Supports the Turnover Leads in defining field protocols for the Turnover process
• Evaluate pre-commissioning deliverables at module / assembly yards (clean pipe inspection, quality checks, etc.)
• Manage preservation program when responsibility transferred from Project to ICSU control
• Leads the development of equipment FAT/SAT strategies as supported by the pre-commissioning team
• Establishes detailed execution strategies/plans for Unit Pre-Commissioning:
- Air blows
- Water flushes
- Chemical cleaning
- Lube oil/seal oil flushes
- LV Motor run-in’s
- Catalyst loading
- Vessel closure inspection
- Electrical pre-commissioning program (Shared)
- Instrument pre-commissioning program including point to point checks, loop checks, etc (Automations Contractor, Pre-com contractors) (Shared)
• Scope definition, evaluation, selection, contract development and management of mechanical contractors utilized for executing completions activities and in support of pre-commissioning activities
