Adecco is currently seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to join our client’s dynamic healthcare team in Kingston, Ontario on a casual basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in dispensing medications, providing patient care, and supporting clinical operations. Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care, including MedsCheck Reviews and patient counselling.
  • Support prescription triage, data entry, and sterile compounding (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with clinicians, physicians, and care coordinators to resolve prescription-related issues.
  • Ensure accuracy in third-party billing, record-keeping, and prescription processing.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and be available for evening and weekend shifts as needed.
  • Research infusion admixture compatibility and stability where required.
  • Contribute to training new staff and maintaining workflow efficiency within the pharmacy team.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing pharmacist.
  • Experience with Kroll software is an asset.
  • Sterile compounding experience preferred (where applicable).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
