How You Will Make an Impact

Reporting to the Manager/Supervisor of the Kitchen, the Kitchen Aide/Driver the Kitchen Aide / Driver enhances the dignity and quality of life of our clients through the assumed responsibility for kitchen aide and driving services.

The primary duties include assisting with the preparation of foods, rinsing, washing, stacking, storage, recording of food logs, and storage. Duties also include the delivery of prepared food from the Centre kitchen to other center's and/or catering functions. Will also be responsible for cleaning of dishes, cleaning kitchen area, including storage areas, and maintain vehicle cleanliness, and/or other duties that relate to kitchen aide and/or the delivery of food or other items for serving

Observe all health and safety rules and work in compliance with the provisions of the occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Applicants should possess an appreciation and understanding of a range of issues including abuse, poverty, homelessness, mental illness and addictions. Applicants must possess a minimum of a Grade 12 education with some kitchen aide/delivery experience, a valid C.P.R. certification (or willingness to be certified) and a demonstrated commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality and dignity.
