Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Control Systems Engineer to join our client’s dynamic aerospace team. In this role, you’ll contribute to advanced aircraft development programs by designing, implementing, and validating Environmental Control Systems (ECS) software and controls. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering environment driving innovation across commercial, military, and emerging urban air mobility platforms.
Pay Rate: $65.00/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Develop closed-loop controls designs for aerospace Environmental Control Systems.
Create simulation models for thermal and mechanical systems.
Develop hardware and software requirements specifications.
Execute hardware, software, and system integration testing.
Author system verification plans and procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and requirement compliance.
Travel to client and customer sites to provide technical support.
· Deliver high performance within an intensive project schedule
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Systems Design Engineering.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in requirements management and closed-loop controls design.
Minimum 3 years of experience with tools such as DOORS and/or MATLAB.
Must be eligible for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) security clearance.
Aerospace industry experience.
Strong knowledge in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermal system closed-loop controls.
Proven expertise in hardware/software requirement development and integration for ECS applications.
Experience with major aircraft OEM development standards.
Familiarity with DO-178C, DO-331, ARP4754, ARP4761.
Advanced skills in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), or similar methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and teamwork.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
