Job Description:
Reporting to the Communications Director for Fluor Canada Ltd, the Community Relations Coordinator will work closely with the Community Relations Manager and the business, both regionally and corporately. You will support and help coordinate the strategic direction for Fluor’s regional community and public affairs involvement, with the mission to enhance Fluor’s reputation by making a sustainable impact through community engagement, employee volunteerism and philanthropic initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
• Coordinate strategic relationships across a Canada-wide portfolio of external community partners and post-secondary institutions.
• Support planning, coordination and execution of a variety of events both internally and externally/public facing, leveraging a number of systems and giving platforms.
• Provide communications support to help capture, write, share and communicate community relations activities, events and outcomes (through newsletters, social media, websites and reports).
• Administration support, helping manage resources, tools, information & data and facilitate administrative duties relative to community relations events and activities.
• Support, develop and help manage relationships with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally, including non-profit, post-secondary institutions and corporate industry partners and clients.
• Support the development and management of work processes and procedures, developing and integrating systems, resources and tools to optimize work efficacy and efficiency.
• Provide varying degrees of support to other functions within the communications team, as needed.
