Adecco is hiring a Calibration Technician for a client in Ontario. This hybrid role includes significant travel to customer sites across various locations in Canada and within Ontario, with onsite work at an assigned depot when not traveling. The successful candidate will perform precise, high-quality calibrations across multiple disciplines, maintain documentation according to standards, and represent the company professionally in customer-facing environments.

Key responsibilities
Calibration execution
Perform calibrations per company procedures and applicable standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, ANZ540.1).
Specialize in overall calibration while supporting additional disciplines; cross-train as needed.
Accurately document calibration results to ensure traceability, completeness, and compliance.
Maintain/verify calibration standards; escalate equipment issues appropriately.
Perform calibration work in the field and at the assigned depot when not traveling.
Field support and customer service
Support setup/teardown of mobile calibration workstations or onsite labs.
Communicate professionally with customers on service status, technical requirements, and scheduling.
Team collaboration
Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines and service levels.
Participate in onboarding and cross-training to build multi-discipline flexibility.
Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement.
Quality and compliance
Follow safety guidelines, company SOPs, and calibration protocols.
Support quality assurance initiatives, including audits, compliance reviews, and lean practices (5S, Kaizen).
Maintain clean, audit-ready calibration workspaces and tools.
Qualifications
1–3 years of hands-on calibration experience in a lab, depot, or field setting.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and calibration standards.
Willing and able to travel up to 75% (local and overnight as required).
Strong attention to detail; ability to follow technical procedures.
Valid Class G driver’s licence in good standing and ability to travel across Ontario and Canada.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred
Experience with RF/GP calibration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
Familiarity with FSM, CalWeb, Gage, or similar calibration/service management tools.
Willingness to cross-train in RF, electrical, pressure, temperature, torque, and dimensional.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; experience in customer-facing/onsite roles for large or multi-site accounts.
Working conditions and physical requirements
Frequent travel by car and occasional air travel; ability to work at various customer sites (industrial, manufacturing, lab environments).
Ability to lift, carry, and position equipment up to 50 lbs/23 kg with or without reasonable accommodation.
Extended periods of standing, walking, and fine motor work with instruments.
Use of PPE as required by site protocols.
