BCIT's ITS department is a seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Business Analyst. The Digital Transformation team within the Information Technology Services (ITS) Department helps the Institute proactively identify and respond to changes in technology, industry and customer expectations. This includes partnering with our clients to understand and address their challenges and opportunities; designing optimal system and process experiences for, and with, our stakeholders; and providing the support required for our Institute to adapt to change. Our ultimate goal is to improve the teaching and learning outcomes for our 50,000+ students, as well as the experiences of our faculty and staff. 

It’s a dynamic time at BCIT as we embark on numerous projects and programs which will enhance the digital experience for students, faculty and staff. We are seeking a full-time Business Analyst (BA) to work with stakeholders across the Institute to understand the current state of their processes, facilitate the design of a future state, identify and ensure requirements are met. The BA will work closely with our clients in ITS, HR, Finance, Schools and Student Services. Assignments may range from Cloud Migration projects within IT Infrastructure department to implementation of Commercial off the Self Software, COTS and Software as a Service, SaaS solutions for our clients.
