Adecco is actively seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead the full scope of operations at our client’s Calgary Branch within the construction and restoration industry. In this role, you will oversee daily production, financial performance, staffing, and customer relations to ensure the Branch operates efficiently, safely, and profitably. Working closely with the General Manager and senior leadership, you will drive strategic execution, implement operational improvements, and foster a high-performing team culture. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Branch performance while contributing to the company’s long-term growth.

  • Pay Rate: $100k-$130k/year plus bonus and benefits.

  • Location: Calgary, AB

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee daily Branch operations to meet performance targets

  • Support and execute the company’s business plan with the General Manager

  • Manage project priorities through department leads

  • Develop operational strategies that improve efficiency and growth

  • Monitor Branch performance and prepare reports with recommendations

  • Maintain clear communication and lead internal management meetings

  • Supervise production processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency

  • Lead hiring, training, coaching, and performance management for staff

  • Build strong customer relationships and resolve issues promptly

  • Analyze operational data to improve costs, productivity, and processes

  • Coordinate workflow with project managers and divisional teams

  • Support annual budget planning with the General Manager and CFO

  • Monitor financial metrics including margins, costs, A/R, A/P, and inventory

  • Ensure financial accountability and policy adherence

  • Contribute to long-term financial planning and corrective actions

  • Provide strong leadership to foster accountability, teamwork, and improvement

  • Motivate, mentor, and support employee performance

  • Address employee concerns in accordance with company policy

  • Ensure compliance with HR, payroll, and Health & Safety requirements

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • Proven experience managing multi-functional teams and daily Branch operations

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and profitability metrics

  • Ability to translate business plans into clear operational goals

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions

  • Results-oriented with a high level of accountability

  • Skilled in motivating, mentoring, and developing employees

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations, production, or Branch management (construction/restoration preferred)

  • Training in systems analysis, financial management, or leadership is an asset

  • Comfortable with prolonged computer use and on-site visits

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work extended hours when required

  • Ability to physically demonstrate and train employees on work tasks
