Benefit Claims Adjudicator

We are seeking a Benefit Claims Adjudicator for a client in Toronto who values precision and effective decision-making. This temporary opportunity offers a vibrant work environment, with the potential for extension based on your performance. Our client is looking for someone to manage claims processing efficiently, from initial validation to following up on outstanding information requests. This temporary onsite position offers a wonderful opportunity to sharpen your skills and grow professionally in a supportive atmosphere. What You Will Do

  • Prepare claims meticulously for initial validation and adjudication.

  • Process both paper and digital claims, including health care, dental, and prescriptions.

  • Engage with practitioner offices and professional associations to assess eligibility accurately.

  • Follow up on outstanding information requests timely and efficiently.

  • Make informed decisions on claim submissions according to the specific plan details.

  • Processing the payments of claims which may include general calculations and adhering to the specific plan at hand

Your Skills

  • Experience in benefit claims adjudication essential for smooth operation and processing.

  • Skills in processing both paper and digital claims efficiently are essential

  • Ability to effectively communicate with practitioner offices to gather claims information is necessary

  • Research skills to assess professional eligibility for extended health claims

  • Strong decision-making skills to handle various claims types proficiently.

  • Competence in performing calculations related to claim payments effectively.

  • Knowledge of the ClaimSecure platform is beneficial, though not mandatory for applicants
